Well the race in sunday river is over. I was 25th today. In a world cup. not exactly where i wanted to be but i was also the second american. I felt like the race prep was good. HAd my favorite tshirt and my favorite watch.I had the Irish tea flowing.I felt like all my ducks were lined up.i felt good going into this race and was confident abut my chances.(a couple more cliches might be good). my goal was top 20 but i was alittle off the mark. My first run was conservative up top but then it was good toward the end it was better but at least i got a second run. In the race everyone gets to take one run. the top 32 get a second run. This has been a problem for me in a few World Cups that I was allowed to do. This time i made it…Barely, I was thirty two. 

there is a little stress involved knowing that you get to race one world cup all season and you havent raced for over a month and all the bet of the best are there. but besides that…

The second run was better, not great but better. I started off more aggressive but had a slight bobble and had to get myself back in line. Not super fast but i was excited of the possibilities.

So on to the bordercross. training didn’t go well as i broke a binding and missed most of training. I was hoping to see how i felt with training the day of the race but this is not  course to blindly go into….but i guess i really don’t have to decide that tomorrow as my name was forgotten to be put on the start list… maybe there is a reason why this happened.

Anyway stupid stuff like this happens (maybe more often to me than the rest but what are you going to do.)

I am hoping to possibly get to do a work cup in spain but we will see… i am not holding my breath
