Well i neglected to talk about quebec as it didn’t really show much love to me. I had some moments of greatness but my head was not in the right place. As there is in all things in life, there are politics in snowboarding. And on the way up to Quebec I found out that I was on the wrong side of the politics which is never good. I feel that if i would have written right after the race then this would have been me ranting and rave about how much I hate the politics in sport. I have since calmed down and I am in Tahoe, Ca. I had to work until 3am on Wed, then fly at 6am, got into Portland, OR and drove 2.5 hours to make sure all was well in Bend, OR. Less than 24hrs later i jumped in the car and drove to tahoe.

There is a bordercross and I feel a bit ill prepared. I have not been able to be on the mountain as much as I have wanted to be as my struggle to get to the hill continues. 

The course is small, no big jumps and fast. I am having a difficult time with one steep banked turn. But tomorrow is another day and i will figure it out.
